The release of much awaited, second album from Fleet Foxes has finally been put in motion. Rejoice and be merry, my friends. Helplessness Blues will be unleashed on the masses on the 3rd of May, to celebrate, Fleet Foxes have put the album’s title track here for your listening and downloading leisure.

The song reflects more of the same elated folk power that Fleet Foxes are renowned for, utilising Robin Pecknold‘s distinctive vocals to their full effect. These are layered over a bed of sombre guitar melodies that steadily gain traction and are spun into the peak that forms the climactic end to ‘Helplessness Blues’.

Fleet Foxes have also announced a number of North America shows here. There’s a smattering of European shows in there too, but nothing us Northerners can excited about unfortunately!
