Yeasayer: Album Scavenger Hunt and UK tour dates

Yesterday Yeasayer released information on an internet wide scavenger hunt to find the youtube vignettes that accompany the eleven tracks on new album Fragrant World. The record is released later in the month on Mute Records and looks set to be one of the most interesting of the year, in our humble opinions.
The endeavour Yeasayer have undertaken in this hunt is called PSCYVOTV (PREEMPTIVE SELF-COMMISSIONED YEASAYER VORSTELLUNG) and displays the trio’s continuing, special appreciation of their fans. In a statement about PSCYVOTV the band have said:
“Using the talents of Yoshi Sodeoka we have created a moving visual for every song on our new album Fragrant World and have hidden them all over the internet. The visuals will live on the web until Friday at 8pm EST. You’ll have a few days to find, listen, and most importantly, hear the album from our hands first. At 8pm sharp PSCYVOTV will be removed.”
In order to unearth, or uninternet in this case, the clues to where the songs are hidden, fans must keep their peepers on Yeasayer’s twitter and Mute‘s also. Good luck!
Yeasayer tour the UK later in the year, hitting the following locations:
Thu 27 Sep London, O2 Shepherds Bush Empire
Fri 28 Sep Glasgow, The Arches
Sat 29 Sep Manchester, The Ritz
